Kord Hosts Give Life! Blood Drive

In January 2019, ‘Kord Gives’ (Kord’s philanthropic organization) hosted a blood drive to support the American Red Cross. Blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.

Kord employees eagerly responded to this need. Our employees donated 22 units of blood and that blood will go on to affect the lives of up to 66 people.

Tom Young, Kord’s president (and a blood donor), said, “What an easy but important way to support our community.  We especially appreciate that our company’s drive was kicked off and organized by volunteers within Kord and that they exceeded their goals.”
