Kord awarded Target Systems Hardware Support Contract

HUNTSVILLE, AL. – Army Awards Huntsville Based Company Five Year, $44,824,528 Contract. On September 14th, the Department of the Army announced it has awarded Kord Technologies, Inc. the Target Systems Hardware Support (TSHS) contract. The contract supports the Program Executive Officer for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation’s (PEO STRI) Targets Management Office (TMO) at Redstone Arsenal. Kord Technologies will provide engineering services, data base management, technical administrative support, and target system and component procurement for TMO to support targetry efforts at ranges in both the United States and Allied Nations. The five-year contract will provide realistic, inexpensive targets to Army, other Service, and Allied Nation users to support research and development, test and training tracking, live fire, and simulated live fire engagements at Department of Defense (DoD) ranges and military installations. Kord will also support testing requirements for multiple weapons systems, on-going development efforts and training missions.
