Kord Achieves Prestigious CMMI Level 3

Kord Technologies, Inc., an integrated defense and aerospace firm, announced that the company was recently appraised at Level 3 of CMMI® Institute’s Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI) by The Process Group, an independent CMMI appraisal company utilizing the Standard CMMI® Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI). CMMI is considered a global standard for efficiency and the CMMI Level 3 appraisal indicates that Kord met standards for effective processes and best practices.
 

Kord’s effort to pursue and achieve CMMI Level 3 certification was led by senior vice president Scott Schnorrenberg, Justin Allen, and Eric Freeman. Scott states, “Justin and Eric did a fantastic job in developing and documenting the standards, procedures, tools and methods to achieve our CMMI level 3 and provide a framework that supports continuous improvement over time.”
