In July 2018 Kord established a new satellite office in Killeen, Texas, to facilitate the company’s support efforts to Ft. Hood. Kord provides training support, aircraft and ground vehicle maintenance, and logistics services to the 166th Aviation Brigade (MFTB) located at Ft Hood. The facility located close to Ft. Hood provides offices and conference rooms for our dedicated support staff.
The 166th Aviation Brigade is designated as the US Army’s host unit to enable a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) training case in support of the Royal Netherlands Air Force and Army units attached to the 302d Squadron, Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF), which is based at Fort Hood. The 302nd is equipped with AH-64D and CH-47F helicopters and Dutch ground vehicles, including motorcycles. Kord develops, supports and executes all aspects of helicopter training, ground maneuver training, and sustainment training as well as new equipment training to support rotational Infantry units from the 11th Air Maneuver Brigade Royal Netherlands Army (RNLA). Kord’s activities also support combined operations with US Units.
Jose Galvan, Kord’s lead for Ft. Hood support efforts, states, “Kord is proud to open our first office in Texas fully dedicated to our aircraft training, maintenance and support activities. This demonstrates our long-term commitment to Ft. Hood.”
