Kord awarded multi-year Aviation Training Contract

Army Awards Huntsville Based Company $78 million dollar Aviation Training Contract

HUNTSVILLE, AL. – On September 29th, the General Services Administration (GSA) awarded Kord Technologies, Inc. a one year base with four one-year options for $78,047,219 to provide training support, aircraft and ground vehicle maintenance, aerial firefighting, and logistics services to the 120th Multi-Functional Training Brigade (MFTB) located at Ft Hood, Texas. The 120th MFTB is designated as the US Army’s host unit enabling Foreign Military Sales (FMS) training and currently supports the 302d Squadron, Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF). The 302nd is equipped with the AH-64D and CH-47F helicopters and trains aircrews and rotational Infantry units from the Royal Netherlands Army’s (RNLA) 11th Air Maneuver Brigade. Kord will develop, support and execute helicopter training, ground maneuver training, and sustainment training as well as Remotely Piloted Vehicles (RPV) training, C-130 Tactical Landing Operations with ground forces and parachute drops, new equipment training, combined operations with US Units and in cooperation with other NATO countries, and provide maintenance and logistic support.
